On 16 Novembre 2019, Mr Aubert will give a conference on ethics in sport in general, and in ice skating in particular. This conference will be held in the context of the Association Romande de Patinage (a regional ice skating association) General Assembly of club Presidents.

On 6 November 2019, from 14:30 to 16:15, Mr Hug will make a presentation in French in Fleurier (NE) on the general terms and conditions of the banks, insurances and mobile phone operators. More information here.

The Aubert-Hug Law Firm introduces itself and reviews one year of activity since the opening of the Law Firm on 1 November 2018, in the monthly magazine Bilan (September 2019 issue, FOCUS Droit 2019, p. 13). Mr Aubert & Mr Hug review their experience of opening a law firm and emphasize, in particular, the importance of geographic proximity as well as the advantages of the multilingualism. During its ordinary Congress on 24 August 2019, the Neuchâtel Football Association (NFA) had to elect (or re-elect) the members of its disciplinary committees. In this respect, Mr Gautier Aubert has been elected as a new member of the Commission de Jeu, which is the equivalent of a disciplinary committee of the NFA. This committee deals with cases related to amateur football in the Neuchâtel region.

In an article published in February 2019 in the daily Neuchâtel newspaper ArcInfo, Mr Dario Hug discuss the relation between the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) and the consumer’s protection. In particular, he mentions an ambiguous link between the two of them. The article (in French) is available online under the following link. 

In its December 2018 issue, repères, the monthly magazine of the Neuchâtel Chamber of Commerce, presents the Aubert-Hug law firm, in its quality as new member of the Chamber. The article is available and can be consulted online (p. 18 of the magazine, in French), under the following link. 

On 30 November 2018, Mr Dario Hug participated to the Conference held at the Université de Neuchâtel: “Blockchain & Smart Contracts – Legal and technical challenges, in particular in the fields: Banks – Private Insurances – Transports”, provided in the framework of the 3rd “Journée du Droit de la consommation et de la distribution”.
He presented his publication, also available in a book format, about the *protection of the consumer against the new technologies, from the conclusion to the application of the contracts”. From the consumer protection’s side, the Blockchain and the Smart Contracts raise a certain number of challenges and questions which, at this stage and to a significant extent, remain to clarify.
